Mesh GPS Hard Tag Solution (GL31)
A GPS tracker disguised as an apparel hard tag is connected to Hapn’s patent-pending mesh solution inside the store. When a theft event occurs and the tracker leaves the store, the connection is severed, triggering an immediate alert that the tracker has been stolen.
Once outside the store, an adjustable ping rate allows users to choose between more frequent real-time location updates or less frequent updates to conserve battery life.
Users have full visibility and control over the tracking data during a theft event and can share real-time location with law enforcement within seconds through Hapn’s Live Links feature.
While inside the store and within range of the solution, the tracker remains in low power mode, lasting up to 6 months before needing a recharge. Once outside the store, the tracker can last up to 3 days while providing one-minute updates.
