CIS Security Solutions has been instrumental in changing the way we protect handbags, with our sustainable alarming tethers. CIS’ founder, Peter Morello was involved in development of UV ink and the counterfeit detection pen when he worked for Pelican Ink. He brought that knowledge with him when he opened CIS Security Solutions in 1989, and invented the multicolor verification ink ribbon for receipts. In 2013 the first alarming tether with a pressure switch was developed with our manufacturer, and we have gone on to develop the 6th generation of sustainable alarming tethers, with replaceable components, currently in use in thousands of stores, protecting handbags and other valuable merchandise.
CIS also provides counterfeit currency detection equipment and money scales that have been very affordable, reliable and easy to use.
