Q-Guard

When a peg hook has a locking device on the end of it (widely used these days), the Q-Guard’s durable plastic makes it impossible for ORC and common shoplifters to remove a battery pack from the peg hook. Without a Q-Guard in place, said shoplifters can simply pull down on the battery package and rip through the cardboard packaging.

An AM, RF or RFID label can be embedded in the Q-Guard for added protection. The Q-Guard protects the EAS or RFID label from being tampered with or peeled off the product packaging.

The Q-Guard doesn’t cover up important printed content on the package. What the Q-Guard does do is completely deter theft at the point of display. This actually makes an embedded EAS label unnecessary, because battery packs protected by Q-Guards will never make it to store exits anyway unless they are properly removed from the peg hooks by store personnel.
